Tiffany Cartwright Make-Up Artistry

I have been a Make-up Artist since 1997 and I am absolutely passionate about my job. After completion of my Make-up Artistry course in Johannesburg, I returned to Zimbabwe to pursue my dream of a creative career. I gained a great deal of experience working on local and International Advertising Campaigns. I soon made a name for myself and enjoyed working with various clients including international film companies who chose to film in the beautiful locations in Zimbabwe.

In 2007 I decided to broaden my horizons by moving to London. As I believe in constantly evolving in my creativity, I enrolled in a Hair and Make-up Artistry course at Greasepaint. Based in lovely Wimbledon, I continue to enjoy a varied career working in all aspects of the industry. I thrive in the exciting ‘Buzz’ of London and was thrilled to work on the London 2012 Olympics! My job is very interesting as I work with inspiring people from all walks of life and visit many stunning locations. I find it rewarding being able to enhance someone’s natural beauty and to see the confidence gained through this transformation.

I love working on Weddings. It is always a happy day and sometimes I feel like I am an ‘Honorary Bridesmaid’! I enjoy helping the Bride get ready for her Special Day. I recommend having a Bridal Trial, to meet the Bride to discuss and try hair and make-up style ideas. The Bride deserves to feel pampered and look beautiful on her wedding day. I believe hiring me as her hair and make-up artist helps create a stress-free day. The Bride will feel confident in the knowledge that the Make-up is long-lasting and looks good in the wedding photographs. I feel very lucky having a career I love! Being creative feeds my Soul!
